About the Author
Caroline Turner is a mixed media artist as well as a crochet designer and Audiologist. She has exhibited her whimsical paintings and crocheted art dolls for several years locally to where she lives in Devon, England.
Crochet started for her when she decided to create her paintings in a doll form that could be cuddled, inspired by her friend Sarah who loves crochet, it seemed a great medium to try. She entered her pregnant flower fairy crochet design in a popular knitting and crochet magazine and won “Toy Maker of the Year”. This gave her the confidence and encouragement to create more designs.
Caroline completed a Foundation Fashion degree in 2010 from Plymouth College of Art.
Caroline lives with her husband, four cats, a lot of art and craft books, far too many dollhouses and an axolotl (the most amazing pink aquatic creature).
